Anger or JaNaH

Asalam aleikum warhmatullah wabarakatu

all praise to Allah the Al Mighty none has the right to be worshiped but Him and to Him is our return praises and salutations to our beloved prophet peace be upon him and all those who follow him .

when i saw the above quote i wondered is it wrong to be angry people keep on hurting us and all we are told is forgive them then who is going to do teach them a lesson when will they learn then SubhanAllah i listen to a very inspiring talk about anger how Allah subhana wataala has talked about it in the Quran indeed Quran is guidance to all mankind and we find all the answers in it .

The following ayats are from surah shurah  ( 36;40) explain how Allah tells us about anger

36. so whatever You have been given is but a passing enjoyment for This worldly life, but that which is with Allâh (Paradise) is better and more lasting for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism) and put their trust In their Lord (concerning All of their affairs). 37. and those who avoid the greater sins, and Al-Fawâhish (illegal sexual intercourse, etc.), and when they are angry, they forgive 38. and those who answer the call of their Lord [i.e. to believe that He is the Only one Lord (Allâh), and to Worship none but Him Alone], and perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and who (conduct) their affairs by mutual consultation, and who spend of what we have bestowed on them; 39. and those Who, when an oppressive wrong is done to them, they take revenge. 40. the Recompense for an evil is an evil like thereof, but whoever forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is due from Allâh. Verily, He likes not the Zâlimûn (oppressors, polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.).

The first ayat Allah subhanawatala mentions about temporarily of this dunia and that everything is this world will fade even the suffering one goes through and that there is a lasting life of here after .
then sins are mentioned and good deeds well how does this have to do with anger well if you avoid sin and work for here after then anger will be not in you then Allah mentions anger and He has given permission to revenge but He adds it better to forgive .
this shows us that for those who are seeking rewards from Allah subhana watala and they are not interested in this worldly affairs then when people anger them they forgive them and they only want Allah to reward them .
may Allah make us all among those who love to be rewarded by Him and affairs of this dunia to mean nothing to us Ameen .
